Graham is an educator, writer, and hailed as an important voice in a group of young, promising intellectuals, dedicated to improving the political, social, and academic landscape. Several journals and newspapers have written articles on him and his work including The New York Times, USA Today, The Hartford Courant, The Connecticut Post, and The New Haven Register.

He has taught at both New York University and New School University in New York City. He is currently pursuing his Phd at Columbia University. He also belongs to several progressive groups and organization including The Poet Society of America, American Academy of Poets, PEN American Center, NAACP, National Association of Black Journalists, New York Public Library Young Lions, TRIO Programs, INROADS, National Urban League, and various subcommittees. Graham currently resides in Manhattan.

He will share his academic experience, athletic accomplishments, and dialogue about using one's mind to over the matter of their circumstances.

Graham will also discuss his new collection of poetry entitled Conciliation (2009), which is due out in the Spring of this year. This volume is a tapestry of poetic selections, thoughtful meditations, and reflections on writers such as Nikki Giovanni, Billy Collins, Dr. Cornel West, Saul Williams, and James Baldwin.
